We’ve stayed here before and let’s just say the quality has gone way downhill. We walked out of our Uber to find a homeless person laying at one of the entrances that we had to walk around.
First of all, our room wasn’t ready at the 4:00 time of check in (we even walked around and gave them some extra time). I paid extra to have a room with a ‘city view’ which wound up being two slivers of windows that looked at the side of another building. The first night we were there, we saw a show and had noticed on the way out that the hotel sign said the restaurant and bar was ‘open until midnight serving drinks and small plates’. When we got back at 10:15, they said the kitchen was closed (this was on a Saturday night). My son and I had to settle for a sandwich that had been sitting out for who knows how long and a yogurt and grapes from the ‘market’. This was when I also found out they do not offer room service. We were starving the next morning to say the least. If we come back to NYC, I sadly, wouldn’t come here again. Way overpaid for our stay that was not what the pictures or previous memories depicted.
