The house was in a gated subdivision, and it was nice and clean when we arrived. The maid was on the property also, so I asked her about kitchen accessories since this was a private home. Instead of just answering my question and showing us where pots, pans, and etc were located, she responded to me directly saying that I needed to leave the cooking to the chef assuming that my husband could cook, and I couldn't. She continued this conversation with my husband saying to him that she considered herself a chef so she could spot another chef easily. I chose to ignore her comments because she was ignorant and didn't know that stereotyping customers isn't right. However, the worst part of our stay was the second night. My huband and I left the property to get something to eat. When we returned, the security guard refused to let us back in. We showed him our reservation and all the emails and texts between us and the property owner. We showed him the keys to the house and gate remote. We even gave him the owner's number and told him to call and verify. He still refused to let us in. We called the owner's number several times and got no answer. I told security that we would leave the premises after we were able to retrieve our property from the house. At that point, the guard let us in. We packed our stuff and brought the keys back to security and left. After we left then the owners decided to respond to our calls about the issue but refused to refund us. AVOID THIS PLACE!
