We arrived to the hotel several hours before check in and were offered a room for an additional $30 per night in order to get in early. We accepted the offer, but found it not worth the additional cost.
The bathroom was last updated in maybe the 1980s. There was a continuous sound of toilets flushing and water running heard through the wall.. as if every pipe was connected and everyone flushing could be heard every few minutes or so.
We had a room facing the interior lobby. There are signs in the halls that quiet time is from 10pm-7am and to respect other guests, but the noise from the bar, shouting etc was obnoxiously loud till after midnight. Not even the TV could drown it out.
Overall though, the worst part for me was the shower. We had to call someone to turn on the shower, the hardware is clearly not working properly. On the second day, I was able to get the shower half way on, but couldn’t pull the tap more.
The lobby area and overall cleanliness was very good. It’s clear however, this hotel is overpriced and extremely outdated. The shuttle service is $6 per person and runs all day. It runs every 30 min. With a lunch and dinner break.
The restaurant in the lobby has good food, but feels overpriced for the food options in the area.
