This is an older hotel but it has been kept updated and clean. It is in a great location off the interstate and close to fairgrounds arena as well as shopping and places to eat. The employees were great and very friendly! Will stay there again.

Hotel in OK City

Hotel staff was great. Room was clean. The hotel is centrally located to shopping, good restaurants and Bricktown.

Not bad but not good

Besides the tempermental ac/heat system that was noisy and the thin little towels, the crap tv program we also hadto deal with loud trucks starting at 4am and the trash truck at 430. Not to mention the soft tub floor. Pics were better online than the hotel was inreal life

We have stayed here several times!

The employees were super friendly and greeted us with enthusiasm! The breakfast was really good and the employees again where super friendly and kept everything stocked. There was cereal, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, muffins, cinnamon rolls, bagels, toast, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee, hot chocolate. Our room was nice and comfy. My only complaint is that other patrons were really loud at night (after midnight) and super early in the morning (before 6). But it was halloween night. Other than that it was a wonderful stay!! We have stayed at this hotel several times.

will not stay there again

thank you for allowing dogs, that was great. the room had a little bad smell and the rug was filthy. It looked like it was never cleaned and had spots/stains. the dog had a little water on the rug and I blotted it up with a napkin and you would not believed the dirt on the napkin.

Stay away!!

The carpet was soooooo nasty. If you get an inside room you should be ok but the outside rooms leave black residue on your feet. Never staying here again.

FOO FIGHTERS concert

Overall our stay was fantastic!The service was good. The only complaint I have about the hotel is it's not a great neighborhood and although the room was clean and the beds were VERY comfortable, it needs some updating and the smell in the room is like cigarette smell covered by air freshener in a non-smoking room. I would say worth the nightly rate.

Third world country hotel

The room was disgusting the floor was covered in sticky substance and black tar looking gunk. After taking my shoes off my feet were completely black after walking from my bed to the vanity which was a couple of feet away. Upon going into the bathroom there was a half cricket hybrid with one leg doing yoga beside the toilet. The bathroom was incredibly small toilet was inches from the bathtub. After using the towels in the room service just re-folded them and put them back on the shelf, so my towels were damp and dirty from the night before. I shared a room with another coworker so who knows who's body parts were on whose face. There wasn't a mini fridge or microwave so the food I brought was a complete waste and had to be discarded. I had a Service dog with me taking him out to the bathroom there were used condoms and trash and blades in class all in the parking lot. The provided Wi-Fi only let me initially connect and then shutdown not letting us use it the complete three days we were there and there was no service for our cell phones so making the whole time a black hole. The whole neighborhood around the hotel was ghetto I'm 90% sure some of the rooms beside me were used for prostitution as the doors were open and men doing in and out all through the night. We had purchased a non-smoking room, but the room beside it is smoking so our room reeked of smoke. I'm also pretty sure the cleaning lady smoked a pack in our room because it smelled completely horrible.

There are better hotels for your stay

The room was clean and comfortable, but the outside noise was relentless and made it tough to sleep, even with earplugs. The internet did not work and when I tried to call the front desk (repeatedly, over a couple hours) it was obvious they had taken their phone off the hook! Additionally, they advertise a free hotel shuttle, but don't mention that it does not run after 5pm! I arrived at 11pm and was told I must take a taxi at my own expense. When I complained and asked for a refund of the taxi, the clerk said she could do nothing about it and pointed to a small sign at the counter that gave the hours of the shuttle. When I asked why weren't the shuttle hours listed on the website - she had no answer. I booked this hotel because as a business traveler, I needed a shuttle and internet service and they delivered neither. While the staff was generally nice and polite, they are not empowered to fix problem situations. They were apologetic, but offered no compensation for their failure to deliver the services they promised. While I'll be back to Oklahoma on a regular basis, I won't be back to La Quinta!!

Convenience

The staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed 2 times in 4 days because it was located close to the airport with a shuttle. Take note the shuttle is not 24 hrs and does not acomidate all flight times. The first night room was in the back facing a parking lot & did not feel safe. Although the hotel is dated it is kept very clean. The staff was excellent.

I stay this time 1 night I forgot my phone charger and I when back to ask for it and nobody saw it 30 minimum later they call me they they found it once room 280 haha I stay in room 281,and 282 .how my charger was in room 280? Everything people forget workers should return to front desk o let them know .in till now I haven't revived my charger.

Great For The Cost Conscious!

This appears to be an older hotel. The outside appearance was average with some trash around the outer interior areas of the hotel. The landscaping needs a lot of worth, with the hotel having large areas of dirt patches where grass once grew. Upon entering my hotel room I was greeted by the unmistakable "chirp" of the smoke detector. When I called the front desk to report it the reply I got was "Ok, but it might take a while". To which I replied, "DON'T LET IT TAKE A WHILE!" After which someone arrived within 5 minutes to completely disconnect the smoke detector. The next morning around 4:00 AM there was a loud boom in the room; turns out it was the clothing rack, it had come out of the wall and fallen to the ground, after which I went right back to sleep. The hotel also appears to have a great pool; there were many guess outside using it.

It's was pretty stuffy in our room, and my boyfriend is an a\c guy, he checked the filter and it was filthy. and our room would've been ALOT cooler if it was changed. Other than that, the staff and breakfast was good.

Can't complain for the price

The hotel wasn't bad. We got a pretty good deal, soft bed, and friendly staff. Only issues we had were that some of our lights didnt work/missing light bulbs. The breakfast was ok, just not a lot of selection that morning. Overall, I would stay again if I were passing through for a night.
