We stayed here for 2 nights on our anniversary weekend and were upgraded to an executive suite with a kitchen (we have hotels.com platinum status). The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, the layout was perfect so we had space and felt relaxed. We overlooked the rear courtyard on the 4th floor, lovely and quiet. Our first evening was spent in the hotel restaurant, where Pranil made us feel so welcome and was very attentive, constantly checking on us and refilling our glasses. The meal was delicious, perfect portion sizes (we initially thought too small but were surprised at how filling!), and the wine was perfect. We had breakfast the next morning and Pravirath (not sure of spelling) was equally as hospitable, patiently explaining the options and keeping an eye on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They are both a credit to the Tower Suites brand. We asked for mattress toppers the next morning, as I found the bed a bit hard - the lovely reception staff organised 2 to be placed on the bed, which felt like we were floating! We actually abandoned our afternoon plans in favour of a snooze :)
The hotel location is perfect, next to the DLR and a tube station, across the road from the Tower of London, plenty of restaurants and things to do. We used the minories car park across the road, which is only 4.50 on Sat overnight. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already booking our next stay in March!
