Poorly ran hotel with bait and switch tactics
My recent stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare and a complete disaster from start to finish. Upon checking in, I was mistakenly assigned to a room already occupied by guests engaged intimately (nude and going at it), along with their distressed tiny dog. The room reeked of marijuana and was visibly filthy as they had been there a while. After enduring a slow elevator ride back down to the lobby, I received replacement keys that did not even work. Returning again, I learned from another guest—not the staff—that the pool was closed, information deliberately omitted from their website to not impact bookings. The overwhelmed desk clerk, instead of offering an apology, openly blamed management for being understaffed and poorly run.
When I finally got a room, it was not like the photos and filthy: the laminate floors were stained with unknown substances, the toilet seat was disgustingly marked with urine and red stains, and the bed linens had footprints from shoes. The main light didn't work, and cleanliness was clearly not a priority. Breakfast was equally bad—missing basic necessities like plates, limited food, and a broken juice machine.
Throughout this ordeal, not once did the staff show genuine concern. Clearly, this hotel suffers from chronic understaffing, negligent management, and a blatant disregard for guest satisfaction. Avoid at all costs until they dramatically overhaul their practices and stop scamming unsuspecting customers.
