This was my 2nd time to stay in a week. The room is so comfortable and quiet. Love that the a/c vent is high on the wall vs. being blown out of a unit on the floor so you’d freeze trying to fall asleep. You will definitely get much needed rest in this hotel. The beds are comfy. We had a king size bed this time. Bedside lamps are not glaring. Just the right amount of light so you can read in bed and not disturb anyone else.
The gym is always available:elliptical, treadmill, pulleys, free weights, and towels. There’s a pool but we didn’t have time to use it. So much local sightseeing, shopping, dining and museums. Right at the edge if the Baylor campus, this hotel puts you close to everything. So location is excellent. Also close to a row of fast food places including In-n-Out which we could walk to. We don’t have that where we live so always a treat when we come across an In-n-Out and then go right to Andy’s for an ice cream. Also if you’re a fan of Fixer Upper, you can go right to Magnolia Market and get some really nice things for home. Definitely an experience going there. Down the street is the Dr. Pepper museum too. This Springhill Suites is the best location to put you close to everything.
The staff couldn’t be any nicer or accommodating. Met Reed and Tiffany when I checked in. We arrived in the evening after a long road trip from Pennsylvania. Check in was easy. Bryce at the front desk made our checkout easy. This is our new “go to” hotel in Waco, Texas.
