Have stayed at this hotel as a Holiday Inn and now the Sydney Harbour Hotel. It has always been a great location for our wonderings. It is a short level surface walk minutes away from excellent restaurants, historic locations, The Rocks Museum, week end street fair, Circular Quay with trains and ferries to other locations such as the Blue Mountains, Manly, Hop On/Off bus, shops both unique and touristy.
The hotel is designated as historic. For a country's capital city, the hotel is very spacious with a TV/refrig cabinet, a desk, and spacious closet and chairs for sitting.
The only "negative" is a bit of precision knob turning to get the separate handles adjusted when it is just right coming out of the single faucet.
We will be staying here on our next trip, the sixth one, when we return to Sydney.
