This visit wss onky the 2nd time ive stayed at this location and both times, the pool heater wasn't working (the specific rrason i elected this chain, rather then their competitor down the street). The time befire this was in May and i was told I would receive a refund. I booked through a third party and xalled numerous times to cofmorm they received feedback drok the front desk regarding the issue and each time, no response was provided by the hotel management. I called Choice Hotels juat to make sure that the "credit" qasnt being applied to my account for a future stay. Nope. No credit applied. I monitored my credit card too and, guess what? No credit.
Notwithstanding the fact you can stay down the rooad for less money if you didnt need/ want an indoor pool, I was put off by the fact my room had a huge dehumidifier in it. It made me a bit concerned since we were traveling with a baby the second visit and smack dab in the midst of cold and flu season.
Check-in was good. Food (the second day) was good. Food service was excellent. Housekeeping was quick to respond when the baby made a mess on the sheets.
I can honestly say I probably won't return, however. The only thing that sets this olace apart the other local hotels IS the indoor pool and big breakfast. Management: get a heater that is big enough to accommodate your pool. I gave you a second chance after being told a part was ordered and on the way. You failed and then lied about a credit. Do better.
