Okay....okay normal hotel. No water service, the hotel needs u to pay even for water at very high prices. Water is the basic necessities of life & for that as well they charge you extremely heavy then or ask you to go out and buy water. Rooms are like pretty small & conjusted. No sofa to sit. Just a room & bed to slp.

Reasonable rates, clean rooms.
We stayed for one night to watch the Christmas Truck Parade on Dec 7/24 The Arbutus Inn was the perfect location to view the parade. It is a clean , reasonably priced Inn with great front desk service. We stay at yhe Arbutus Inn wherever we visit our son who lives in Victoria.

Lise was amazing
I arrived hours before check in time for a heart operation the next day. Lise was amazing. She checked me in and arranged for a wake up call the next morning and a taxi ride to the hospital. She also recommended a restaurant across the street called Spooners Diner and it was off the charts good. The only not great thing is that the walls are very thin and so a fair bit of noise.
