Good: View, cleanliness, waitstaff (accommodating/friendly), activities staff, cleaning staff, Italian restaurant
Bad: Food options/rotation. No typical western breakfast options such as bacon/sausage. Burgers & hotdogs were very salty. Steak was mostly chewy and of low quality. Chicken and fish were dry and chewy.
Even worse:
-Watered down drinks tasting almost like sugar water and low quality alcohol. Attitude given for large group dining bookings (La Vista) when it was already booked and requested.
-Excursion booking: shady tactics to sell time shares to get "promotional rate" have to attend breakfast/presentation and asking intrusive questions like "are you single". Note don't even try to book anything with them, Expedia or other bookings are a lot cheaper too. Ex. they want $170 for Chichenitza, Expedia $45-60 plus 45 entrance fee is still less than 170, or if you even get their promotional rate of $100 minus the presentation/headache.
-Adding an additional person was quoted $140/night compared to $170 when i added the same person for an entire week. When I brought this up to them that I can literally get a whole other room, they said if I preferred I can do that instead (very accommodating).
Given the subpar food and drink quality, combined with cash grab tactics and deceptive practices post-booking, I would not recommend this resort to others. There are likely better options available in Cancun’s hotel zone that offer a more enjoyable and transparent experience.
