I’m extremely disappointed with my stay. I was in town for my kids dance competition. We checked in Friday evening after school and had to be up early in the morning. Due to our arrival time, we were not allowed to use the pool/hot tub because they close when it is dark. No lights on the deck. Pitch black. Check in is normally at 3, but we weren’t able to get in until 7sh. Saturday we were out all day for competition, so by the time we got back to the hotel, it was past 7 as well. Once again not allowed to use the amenities. Sunday was our check out day, 10am. We got everything out of the room before then. I came to the desk around 930 to ask if we can borrow the beach towels in the room and drop it off somewhere to return. The “property manager” told me check out is at 1030. I told her I was aware, and that we didn’t get a chance at all to use the pool and would like to be able to stay for that for just a little bit. She got so rude with me and said I’m asking her to break policy. I tried to seek some compassion. When she asked if I was an timeshare owner, I said no, she said they only accommodate owners. I paid about $700 for this stay and apparently my money didn’t matter. Maintenance harassed my senior mother later on and accused her of being rude. He gave her the most angry stare at her and I tried to speak to him, but he said he’s going to the front desk, then came back out with security as if we were causing a scene. They are not nice to you unless you are an owner!
