Listing Wrong-Pres Suite Free Mini Bar- NO MINIBAR
We were quite disappointed. We called/emailed before arrival, with no reply. We had questions and needed some bedding removed. Upon arrival, we were told our messages had not been received. We saw the phone go unanswered while we waited for the elevator, as an employee was on their personal phone. That may explain it.
We inquired at check-in about the complimentary minibar items mentioned in the Presidential Suite description. Other suites simply listed a minibar; the Presidential Suite specifically advertised "FREE MINI BAR ITEMS." We chose this more expensive suite as a treat, hoping to enjoy drinks before and after an event without having to bring our own. We were disappointed to learn that there were no minibars in any room, only water. We had to purchase drinks nearby after paying a premium for what was advertised. This amenity is listed on multiple booking websites, stating they receive their information from the hotel itself.
The bedroom curtains were detached at the top, they did not close, and the sun came in early.
The kitchen listing was also inaccurate. Plates and bowls were provided, but no silverware or stovetop. We were told utensils were being polished, but later told they don't provide silverware. Why dishes if no utensils?
At checkout, we received neither an apology nor a discount.
Inaccuracies led to unforeseen expenses. We paid for amenities that weren't available, specifically a minibar, and should have received a price adjustment.
