I think this was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced.
When I arrived, the receptionist was extremely unprofessional and rude. I had already paid online, but they insisted on taking my full bank card details to enter into their system, claiming it was for potential damages. They said it was stated in the website’s terms and conditions. When I asked to see it, the website only mentioned that the card should be shown to the hotel ,not that sensitive banking details should be manually recorded in their system. When I refused, they told me I could just leave if I didn’t like it.
When I got to the room, the bed was extremely dirty and covered in hair. Even the toilet hadn’t been cleaned. Luckily, the receptionist’s shift changed, and a polite and professional gentleman replaced him. He changed our room and even offered us a complimentary breakfast because of the state of the previous room.
However, the mattress was very old and uncomfortable, and we had two very difficult nights there. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel.
