Weekend at the beachfront
This place was so great for a quiet getaway. The Ambassadors made it so easy. We enjoyed most of the food a lot, but did not prefer the dinner menu at the in-house restaurant and had a bad experience with the Sushi restaurant next door. Everything else was wonderful.

Amazing boutique escape
Absolutely delightful stay at the Beachfront. Quaint resort with only 42 rooms, but all the amenities and services one would expect at a five-star resort. The benefit of the boutique atmosphere is the attention to detail and level of service the staff provides. They knew us by name, quickly learned our preferences, and were incredibly attentive in all the right ways. The property and beach are immaculate and with all-inclusive access to the much larger sister property next door, there are plenty of dining and entertainment options. With our next trip to Playa del Carmen, we won't be searching for a resort as we know where wi will return to.

Amazing a la carte all inclusive
Amazing hotel! It’s the sister hotel to the Fives beachfront hotel, and was bought recently. I think it’s a great place to go if you want an all inclusive but calmer vibe, we visited the sister hotel a few times for meals but much preferred our hotel! The food was excellent, the lunch menu was my favourite and the tasting menus are really good quality. 10/10 recommend!

The side of the hotel is small, intimate and perfect. The rooms are great size and the resort is quaint enough where you feel you’re in a boutique setting. The sister property is a quick walk along the beach or by tram, where’s there’s more restaurant options, bars and families. The service on that side was lacking in comparison. Would definitely come back to the beachfront side again

This place is exquisite and only for people that appreciate exclusivity, excellent food quality and great service. Do NOT use the duster property as you will be very disappointed. Again I repeat if you like huge resorts with booming music and lots of people don’t come here. If you appreciate luxury and fine dining along with peace and tranquility you will love here. Only missing point would be additional music in the evenings. Bar staff and top shelf liquors are the best.

The service was fantastic and prompt, food and drinks were good. We rarely had to go to the bar for a drink because we were served by the pool / beach. Gustavo and Jennifer were great in the restaurant, Jorge at the pool was exceptional. Our ocean view room had a great view and was clean.

This was the most amazing experience, from the moment we landed to the very last second of our stay. I cannot thank the staff enough for their such great attention to detail. They did something very special for our anniversary. They went above and beyond the expectations. The property is safe with its own security. The National Guard has a stand on the beach between the two sister hotels which you can walk to very conveniently or take a golf cart. We kept trying to venture out but the hotel just had everything from entertainment to food. The spa is fantastic. There's a private vendor that also provides massages on the beach which I recommend. This was my first time visiting and I will be returning again for round two. By far the most amazing time of my life. They literally treat you like a king/Queen. The staff is so nice and so willing to help. Although it's an all inclusive, please tip the staff. I recommend a dollar to two dollars at most if the person really made an impact. I loved it so much. Thank you. Oh by the way. The Mixologist on both hotels... Daiummmm they are amazing JC/Fidel from the main resort and Israel at the beachfront.. wow. You all are artists. The waiters and waitresses, Maria, Jorge, our embassadors Julio, Jazmine, Miriam, Nayeth, Juan, Melky. They ensured the best Vacation. Gracias!

This a beautiful place. Food is fantastic. The staff is super nice and attentive. There’s nothing I could criticize on the property itself. The neighborhood is a different matter. There’s nothing, streets are in an awful condition, and it just doesn’t feel safe. That said, you’re definitely safe on the property of the hotel.

The Beachfront was everything we expected it would be, with the exception of its own food options. The hotel looks amazing, the staff is amazing, rooms amazing, services amazing, we can't say enough great things about it. The restaurant has a fixed menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, those items it does really well. The breakfast menu we found to be limited. Lunch is spectacular, as well as the dinner options. We also did one of its 6 course special dinners, that we found underwhelming at best. Definitely try some of the restaurants at the sister hotel instead.

We opted for Beachfront in order to try something a little different from the larger hotels in the area. A summary is pretty easy: this place is excellent. The staff are wonderful and incredibly responsive (use the Whatsapp group they set up for you, it's perfect), in particular Lucas and Johana, you guys are great! If you want lots of people and lots of activities, go to the main Fives hotel next door, this is not the place for you! If you want quiet, and no difficulty finding comfortable loungers any time you want them on the private area of the beach or by the pool; premium drinks mixed to your needs; attentive and friendly staff; then come here. We had a couple of issues with the room but they were dealt with immediately. I heard some people talking about low hot water pressure so be aware of that. Others have talked about the setup - a shuttle to the main hotel for the restaurants and activities there should you want them (the restaurant at Beachfront does now cover all meals, but the Fives hotel restaurants give more options; we particularly liked Koh Thai and Brasserie but were glad to get back from the noise to our own quiet hotel!) and so on. The rooms here are not especially big, but since the aim isn't to be in them much of the day that was no issue to us, the room was ample. There is a public beach right next to Beachfront which has a barrier to the waves and is very pleasant - very little seaweed. Beautiful sand too. It's not perfect but I'd recommend it.
