This is easily the worst place I have stayed. The property was dirty with splashed coffee and sauce on the walls around the kitchen and hair ties from a previous guest on the ledge in the bathroom. The building itself is in need of major repairs with broken outdoor steps which was a hazard to my children and all the latches on the windows were broken meaning they didn't close so we couldn't drown out the sound of the motorway. The floors were also filthy and left our feet black after walking barefoot. The pictures online of this place are clearly years old as the place is in need of a coat of paint and gardening. The beds were also very uncomfortable, the saving grace was the sheets were clean. Unfortunately we weren't provided with duvets and instead were given some cheap fake wool blankets that are past their prime. I was cold and didn't sleep much. There was also a real lack of furniture. No bed side tables, lamps, art , couch nothing ... Just a large room with a bed. Ultimately it was a real let down and I definitely think whomever the owner is needs to look at investing in some upkeep and improvements.

Everything xthat was needed was there for an overnight stay. Would have been nice to have a little milk provided for coffee. Although the bathroom was fine, the shower pan will need attending to at some point as the shower pan is depressed in one corner, like the floor has rotted / gone underneath. There is no bounciness so is stable and safe but a little disconcerting.

Get what you paid for, no soap or shampoo/conditioner in rooms, had to go purchase own soap, shower leaking from pipes in the ceilings. Unable to report this to office when returning keys became reception was unattended

Good price and convenient for my situation. Was not happy to be greeted with an out of the blue $100 unsecured bond. When I booked the Motel on line there was no mention of this. I felt obliged to pay it on check in but was given no paperwork in receipt of the money. I hope I get it back on departure, as I didn't budget for it.

Property is not like the photos. Unclean and not enough bedding. Very cold. Aircon don’t work in bedroom but did in the lounge area. Stove un-useable due to rust and dirt. But location was good and near everything we needed

The advertisement on the internet is misleading. We were taken to a very dusty, smelly room and I had to ask for another room. The staff took us to another room which I thought was better. Air con was very slow to work in the room and cannot turn the temperature below 19 degrees. Wifi signal was extra weak and staff was not helpful in providing a better access. Tables have not been wiped as food crumbles and hairs were there. Microwave was dirty. Cobwebs under the bathroom sink and there was no kitchen sink to wash plates/cups. The bathroom shower - water pressure was too strong and can't turn it down to run slowly. Worst of all is the beds had bed bugs and we couldn't sleep on the bed, ended up sitting on the chair all night. The room just smells like bed bugs. It's the most disgusting experience I've ever had in New Zealand. If only they do a very thorough cleaning of everything and get rid of the bed bugs, it would've been better. I am asking for a refund as both myself and my young daughter are struggling with itchiness and rashes from bed bugs. I have videos of the bed with the bugs. The office does not operate at night so there's no way you could complain after 10pm. Sadly, we had to leave in the morning before the front desk opens and could not speak to one of the staff face to face about this. I am never returning to this motel. What a sad experience for us, as we were hoping for a lovely time away with my daughter but ended up it was a sleepless night.
