The hotel is accessible via metro: you have to go through the Mall of Emirates to the entrance D (near the food court) and go straight through the car park, past the street at the traffic lights, turn left and now you've got only about 180 steps to the doorstep of the hotel.
I met very positive people at the desk, I still think it is very important to respect each other.
Before you start showering, do check if the shower tray drain is not covered (closed).
Some could have heard / felt an annoying low frequency sound in the evenings probably originated from neighboring facility. If you visit Dubai as a tourist, it will not prevent you from sleep after long sightseeing...
The safe is big and your notebook will fit it well. It is located over the fridge, which gives the result of somehow warming of objects inside it.
Maybe the breakfast does not give a big choice of meals, you have to remember, though, that this is a 3, not 5 star hotel.
Perhaps the immediate vicinity is not extremely distinguished, but you may find a number of restaurants / bars; the shopping centre with a hypermarket (its name started with the "L") is about 500m distance.
