**Mixed Experience at Sydney Riseon Hotel
I recently stayed at the Sydney Riseon Hotel in the CBF district and have mixed feelings about my experience.
Starting with the positives, the receptionist, Ann, was extremely welcoming and kind upon our arrival. The hotel’s location in the heart of everything was convenient for our first night in the city.
However, our initial impression was dampened by a loud discussion between staff members in an adjacent room, which was quite off-putting. Despite some reservations due to mixed reviews, we decided to give it a chance.
Upon entering our upgraded room, provided due to high occupancy, we were greeted by a foul odor reminiscent of decay. Unfortunately, despite our request, we were unable to change rooms. We resorted to purchasing an air freshener, which was readily offered at the front desk, albeit suspiciously.
The source of the odor seemed to be the bathroom, which boasted three shower heads, perhaps aiming for a sense of luxury but missing the mark. Overall, while the hotel has its merits, potential guests should carefully consider recent reviewer comments before making a decision to stay here.
