The facilities at the Osborne are excellent, set in idyllic spot overlooking the sea & it felt a very safe environment with multiple activities to keep our family entertained, the outdoor areas were very well kept, housekeeping were a brilliant all round team. Food wise, there was a very good variety on breakfast, with nice ingredients.
Negatives: Difficult to park on the grounds but mainly due to wedding events being held there, water pressure low made for difficult showers, doors and windows need some attention (meaning squeaks and bangs were unavoidable, including our door which was very difficult to open and close without waking up the entire floor) .overall excellent stay but Torquay itself has become extortionate with poor quality food at silly prices, activities around the area averaging £65 for an hours event for 2adults and child, can understand why it wasn’t busy, even in August. The hotel is also expensive but you can understand with the facilities it has to maintain.
