The property in my opinion id closer to 4 or 4.5 stars. I personally already assumed that based on the price, and I think it was well worth the price. I would highly recommend this place if you want a relaxing couple's vacation. I personally wouldn't stay longer than 4 nights because I think you will get bored. Pros: *Room was much bigger and nicer than I expected *Food was actually pretty good (minus breakfast restaurant) *The drinks were STRONG. this is not one of those resorts where it is hard to get drunk at or they water drinks down. All of the drinks had great presentation and getting a drink was extremely easy *Bartenders were all awesome *Both pools are nice, water is not freezing, great temperature *Foam Party and Saturday act were great Cons: *Music is mainly Spanish focused... the music was playing on a loop, and I felt like I heard the same 20 songs every day on repeat *App is not accurate (said restaurants would be open when they weren't. Never got to go to the Italian because this) *No Beach at all *Slight Marina smell *Room Service takes a while and is often inaccurate *Breakfast restaurant is bad (although we didnt try the omelet station) everything else wasnt good *Balcony had no table even tho we requested one (add more furniture *Spa sales guy is very annoying had vendors that also continued to bother us (spa prices are also worse than the US) Overall really great for a short couples trip, if you want to split your stay with two resorts, ..

Sadly not what we expected . The beach area was super small and not available at the moment . The gym was unavailable for maintenance . The room was very far from the main area. We were looking for better energy more welcoming vibe . Other than the gentlemen that welcomed that was very nice the rest were cold and unwelcoming . We were there 30 minutes and transferred to another hotel . Expedia has tried to reach the hotel and they have made it very difficult to solve our issue .

This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. The property was pretty but the food is one star quality and the staff is incompetent. They play the same five songs all day and the shows are lackluster. Room services takes an hour and they mess up every order. They don’t have proper customer service and protocols. Staff are rude and do not take accountability for anything. There is a reason the price is so low. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK!!! Worst birthday trip of my life!

Our stay was great. Our preferred room type wasn’t available upon check in (we knew this could happen per expedia’s disclaimer) but it was rectified on our second day there. Our butler, Cueto, was attentive and proactive. Dinner options were GREAT, food tasted good (per my Caribbean taste buds)… i miss it every day :( Staff were nice and helpful as well. The gym looked well stocked (didn’t use it). There wasn’t a first aid kit (or the language barrier didn’t allow one to be procured) for minor scrapes but it turned out fine. There was a variety of activities daily and nightly for all walks of people. Definitely would recommend based on my stay.

We were locked out of our hotel all week. They gave us each new wrist bands but they didn’t ever both work at the same time. Had to get security to let us in or leave the patio door opened to reenter our room. The hot water never worked. The toilet hardly flushed. The food wasn’t that good-all meat tasted horrible. The gift shop wouldn’t accept the Dominican money. Never will stay here again
