Overall we had a great time
Overall we had a great time. The only issue we faced was with Reception / Front Desk that was an absolute disaster. The only thing they could do is to book you for the free daily snorkelling trip or to charge your credit card. They were not able (or even worse, did not want to!) handle other questions/queries. Our check-in was extremely slow considering that they had to do the check-in only for 2 rooms. As for the mandatory Christmas Gala Dinner (140 USD/person), we were shocked to realise that not even a glass of wine or beer was included in this hefty price. The bill for the Christmas Gala Dinner had to be settled ahead of Christmas Eve, which is a complete lack of trust toward their ‘Valued Guests’ (as they call them). It was also unclear for us how it was possible that for guests on all board types (including bed & breakfast) the sum of the Gala Dinner was exactly the same. This meant that guests on half board or full board had to pay twice for their dinner on 24 December. When I raised this point with Front Desk they did not even understand the point I was making. Very poor indeed!
