Good generally. The lifts, however, were most unfriendly, with queues and subsequent crushes on most occasions.
A few other niggles:
-Bedroom and bathroom size rather miserly and we felt uncomfortably squashed. Both would benefit from an extra 12 inches (25cms) in both width and length. Thankfully there was a reasonably sized sitting area.
- TV reception was awful, particularly in the bedroom where the TV was not watchable.
- Some missing items that one might expect in superior room, eg tissues, something to stir teas/coffees with, instructions re air conditioning unit, information about the hotel facilities.
Why is information so sparse about the 2nd dining room, ie the VQ? There was no promotional material in the room and signage in the public area is not at all prominent. Only when we were refused a discount for breakfast in the Cucina (where the lady on the door made no mention of an alternative) did we revert to the main reception staff and were told that there was another one. This is a great pity because the breakfast in the VQ was first class, both in the standard of the fare and the service. It deserves proper recognition.
