The location is really good, beautiful lake, and inside the park but the service was poor, unfriendly atmosphere, room service is every other day, don’t really clean the room very good and the bathroom, and most especially I saw additional charges in my accnt. that I didn’t get in their little store. Food was very limited yet expensive. I love hotel.com and never had a problem with the other booking I did before but this one was not a smooth sailing. I will consider this as a bad experience.

The grounds were beautiful and the ride to the resort was so peaceful. We saw several deer and the leaves were beautiful. Our room was very nice and the beds slept great! The entire property was super clean! Breakfast was awesome and had more offerings than most stand alone restaurants. The only small complaint would be the need for better lighting in the bathroom. We will definitely be back to take advantage of the golf and the lake!

Great Solo Getaway
This was a great in town stay to getaway for a few days. With the property being located inside Stone Mountain and on a lake provided for so many more added nearby attractions. I loved the outdoor space on the resort and that the room has a balcony.

Relaxing vacation
Clean and comfortable. Seemed a bit understaffed in the restaurants. Enjoyed our stay. Will stay here again.

Great nature getaway
Greta hotel. Service was phenomenal. We stayed there 3 nights. Very good for a getaway from the city.
Food was mediocre in the hotel. Breakfast wasn’t worth the money but everything else was perfect.

It’s fine
It’s was fine. The hallway of the third floor had a funky smell. Our AC also seemed like it did not work great. We were just there for one night but it was fine.

The staff when I checked in never communicated that there would be an additional fee for having dogs until after I checked in and noticed I had a dog. On the website, it says pet friendly which is the only reason I chose the hotel. One woman working the counter was very rude. Rooms were subpar and the lake view really was nothing to see. Don't waste your money here folks.

Where did all the towels go?
Why was the check in line 45 minutes to 1 hour long? We checked in on labor day weekend hoping for a relaxing stay but things were less than relaxing. Super long check in line, the pool had no towels two nights in a row, and the last night we had no avaliable shower towels. The pool had toys left floating for the entire stay and the music was blasting at the pool well after 10pm. Im done with this place. Maybe okay for off season but they dont staff enough people for the busy season.

Not over whelmed
Our stay was fine although 2 items were unfavorable. First, the tavern and restaurant were understaffed and under supplied. Those working did the best they could but we expected better after a long day on the road. For example, food was cold and they ran out of what I wanted to order. Second, a resort fee was added on to our bill with no prior notification. This was not disclosed by Hotels.com or the facility itself.

Beautiful location within Stone Mountain Park. Our room was lakefront and offered a gorgeous sunrise on the quiet outdoor balcony. The property itself does not feel like a resort although it is in a resort setting. Much more decor is needed in the lobby & throughout the extensive common spaces/hallways to make your feel welcome and to make this feel like a resort once again. The rooms have been updated within the past few years but more ambiance is needed to make your stay feel luxurious. Staff is efficient but do not make you feel welcome. There is more to making a traveler feel like they have made a good choice in lodging other than saying welcome & hello without truly meaning those words. More information on the Park is needed for folks regarding food & activities. The pamphlet provided by Stone Mountain is okay but not a comprehensive list of options just outside the park entrances. Stone Mountain feels deserted, even on the Thursday before Labor Day weekend. Desolate parking lots & not great signage. Less than helpful/welcoming staff at the Skyline Tram Gift Shop. The park itself is beautiful but the attractions feel a little dated & worn out. Hotel could be magnificent, it just needs some more pizzaz! Restaurant within the resort has a very limited & expensive menu. Would stay again for the view from the room but not much else makes me want to return.
