First, a shout out to Martin, Tania and honestly the whole kitchen and restaurant staff... very courteous and polite, even when we showed up at 9.45pm to get something to eat...because we lost track of time after checking in and having a very long day. So thank you for accommodating us. Two things we'd like to ask: since there are a lack of food options in the area, this is a very industrial part of town, maybe have the in-house restaurant open a little bit later (midnight, 1am?) to help ease the tension put on staff. Also, the buffet breakfast should be included in the rate. It confuses EVERYONE who tried to partake in it; staff askes if guests have a voucher, we all look bewildered, they say go as the front desk, wo do, they say go back and just say you can charge it to you room if you don't have one, then it's limited fare and not including everything on the menu in the first place... so what's the point? I mean, both days we each only made one 'trip' to the breakfast buffet for the same price a made to order... so, again... either include it in the rate, or don't have it. it's weird, confusing, incomplete and causes back and forth to the front desk when instructions are unclear. OTHER than these little things...this Garden Hotel is just that. An Eden in the middle of urbania was a huge relief and such a romantic place for my partner and I to nest for for a couple of days...and to get away before a long flight and departure away from each other. So, thank you!
