    If you target brands, you'll be pleased with Hugo Boss, The North Face, and Marks and Spencer department stores within the mall's walls. The dining options consist of international restaurants, coffee bars and a couple of fast-food chains. Another option is digging into Asian fare at the Chopstix Noodle Bar. Just outside The Trinity Center, you can find the majestic Tivoli Theater, which invites you to with a ballet performance or a comedy show.

    The monthly Aberdeen Farmers’ Market is a fantastic alternate to indoor shopping malls. On the last Saturday of each month, local food producers display their fruits, vegetables, meats, and bakery items in a park along Belmont Street.

    Besides the selection of fresh produce straight from the land and the baking oven, the Aberdeen Farmers' Market has plenty of stalls selling hand-crafted gifts, jewelry, and home decor. It's lovely to stroll around the peaceful Union Terrace Gardens, just a few minutes away on foot.

    Beach Boulevard Retail Park is near the coast, so you can take a break from shopping when the weather allows it and soak up the silky breeze of the North Sea.

    While most people are drawn to the main malls around Union Street, this road has its own fair share of retail stores and restaurants. The vast selection of shops along Union Street draws a diverse crowd. Here, you can look for bargains at Poundland, scan Gift Wrap for Scottish souvenirs, and find dazzling accessories at the well-established jeweler Jamieson & Carry.

    Market Street

    Market Street houses several restaurants and shops, the latter mainly aimed at hobbyists. Especially in the northeastern section of Market Street, you’ll find specialty stores, such as camera stores and Gamola Golf where you can buy equipment to be active on the golf course.

    Market Street has some snuggly bars and cafes as well, which provide a place to let go of your heavy shopping bags for a while. We recommend visiting The Kirk of St. Nicholas, a stunning 12th-century cathedral just north of the street.
