Great Great stay last night
Perfect except the key app didn't woork too quickly. Could use complementary bar soap and label thesoap and lotion and conditioner dispensers

The property and room were good. Would have liked an area rug at the side of the bed and enough hot water for both of us to take a shower. A bit more assistance with how check in would go. the communication of how it works was rather vague. All in all, great stay.

Staff were very helpful with the lock box code as we could not get room access via our phone. Bathroom was very clean and amongst the best of our trip to date. Room had everything we needed but bed was very soft and pillows too high. Also very noisy in room 101 as we listened to everyone arriving throughout the night until the early AM.

Clean but noisy
This hotel is basically 2 side by side houses converted to hotel rooms. Room and bathroom were clean but it’s across the street from a live music bar that goes until 2 am (on a Saturday night at least). Maybe the rooms in the back of the house weren’t so noisy but mine was (they do realize this is an issue since they provide ear plugs for the room). If you sleep heavily or plan on staying out late then maybe this won’t be an issue for you. I mean they can’t change the location of their inn so I don’t blame them for this but you should be aware of it.
And hey I appreciate them putting some effort into branding it as the “Art” inn by putting up some wallpaper with graphics and some Eat. Pray. Love. Knick knacks (for instance a “Positive attracts Positive” poster).
If it weren’t for the noise an Ok experience although a bit overpriced. The main plus for is that it’s right next to Seattle University if you have a kid going there.

This was such a cute little Inn. The building is small but homey, and the service is exceptional! I had the best sleep ever, the beds are extremely comfortable. Definitely reccomend!

For $200.00 per night it’s noisy, light comes in through windows. Tight quarters is anticipated but internet is intermittent.

Good Enough if you aren't high maintenance!
It worked for what I needed... A place to sleep, shower, and store my belongings. It is definitely more a BnB without an on-site concierge than a hotel. However, the contact number was very responsive when needed and walked me through check-in. They also were kind enough to store my luggage after check-out for a few hours.

almost there
Convenient location. Difficulty to accessing room key as their digital system was not working and I was not advised of this in advance. I had to text them and wait for their call back which was inconvenient. The female staff who did assist was very helpful and friendly.
There were black marks on the white sheets and the blanket had a lot of hair on it.

The door handle to the room fell off twice. The maintenance worker that came down to repair it the second time, did not not before they entered. The television did not work. Also, the check-in system was down so we could not check in via the instructions that were sent via email. Not a great process or experience.

Room was very nicely decorated and well provisioned. We hated not having a person to check us in - will make sure we do not book into human-less accomodation again. When we finally did get a call to assist us the lady was very helpful.

This was a quick stay for us, but the checkin was easy and ability to text back and forth was nice. The place was cute, small but clean and with character. Shower was nice too.

This property is nothing like the pictures. Located next to a university on a side street, no safe parking, and very sketchy building. Immediately cancelled my reservation upon arrival. If I could give 0 stars I would. And they do not give you any money back for cancellation even if you don’t feel safe.

Not a hotel, terrible experience from the start
Not a hotel. Check in app did not work and had to wait outside until they called me to fix the mobile key 30 minutes after I arrived.
The room had 2 twin beds as described, but the washroom was separated from the room by a sheer curtain, making it incredibly uncomfortable with another traveler.
The house is located directly across from a restaurant/nightclub and we were subject to shouting, loud music and thumping bass past 2:00 AM. Obviously the property is aware of this since disposable earplugs are provided in the room, but these were not sufficient to allow for any sleep until the club shut down for the night. All in all, absolutely the worst stay I’ve had in Seattle and as a frequent traveler will not stay here again.

Hotels.com is horrible
This is not a review for the Art Inn! They have communicated well with me and tbh the place looks really nice and clean. Hotels.com is a horrible site that I’ll never use again. They won’t let me cancel my reservation after their site made an error. I tried to take care of it 3 days prior. They’re straight up horrible. AGAIN, this is not a bad rating for The Art Inn!! They were great and based upon communication I would highly recommend them!

Seattle is an expensive city, so I recommend you save money wherever possible…. Starting with this inn! My husband and I stayed in Room 101, which was small but mighty. Clean, comfortable, and close to plenty of opportunities to spend your money.
