Impressive interior, atrocious comfort
The lobby and general aesthetic of the hotel was really nice and I think everything looked lovely. My hotel room even had a living room and a bedroom while paying a very reasonable fee for the hotel. But that's where the good things about the hotel end. While I appreciate the lovely design of the hotel at first glance, they completely failed on the most important aspect of a hotel, which is comfort. The beds were as hard as the floor and slanted downwards slightly. They were also really loud. If you move too much or tap the frame it sounds like closing the metal door on a U-Haul storage unit. I was completely unable to sleep on the bed and it even ended up hurting my back. The pillows were so soft I felt like my head was directly on the mattress. The bathroom was hilariously small and the toilet had grime on it. The channels didnt match the guide for tv.
Ultimately I was unable to stay in the hotel for the 2 days I booked and had to leave in the middle of the night for a different hotel and cancel everything. I truly feel it's a shame because they have a wonderful building and decor going for them and if they had better beds and took more care focusing on comfort this could be a really nice place to stay. For now I have no choice to give 1 star as to me it was unstayable.
