Not a bad place to sleep. Not a destination. Continue to be baffled by their "resort fee" as there is literally no "resort" activity here. They have a pool (closed for the winter) and breakfast (better than many budget locations) but that's it. Also, a $100 deposit is required. Ugh.
Hotel itself is an older property that has gone through quite a facelift. Much of the property looks brand new, but some obvious budget cuts are visible. Things like toilet paper holders and vents; if they were replaced, you'd think the property was brand new!
The room was clean and comfortable. Faux wood floors, so they can be cold on your feet. No carpet. They have a Qi charger for your phone but no USB ports. Only a single shade in the room - no diffuser or blackout curtains. TV was OK, but like many refurbished properties, the quality of the signal was not as good as the quality of the TV. The air conditioner made funny noises.
Finally, these are NOT QUEEN BEDS. They are doubles. Single bed rooms should be Kings but they are just one double bed. Small bed leaves such a bare, open room.
