Horrifying. I want to start by noting that the manager was very friendly, and I do know what to expect at a budget hotel. This hotel should not be offered on Hotels.com.
We opened the door to our room. Beds were unmade, toilet paper on floor in bathroom + wet towels on floor. Manager moved us to a second room; door opened and we gagged at the overwhelming smell of wet dogs ("pet friendly!" [we don't have pets]).
Manager (again, lovely and very friendly) moved us to third room on other side of hotel. This is not her fault. This hotel is not a hotel.
3rd room's exterior electronic lock is smashed (!) but works. Fine, whatever -- it's only one night. Get into room, smells terrible (less terrible than dog room though). Mold on the walls. Shaving debris in sink. TV does not work (I see the problem: there is a rat's nest of wires just hanging out of the wall). WiFi does not work on this side of the hotel. Then I walked out the inspecting the bathroom and stepped on a 2" metal screw that is JUST LAYING in the middle of the filthy carpet. Kids, always wear shoes on the carpet in a hotel.
After saying a quick hello to the group of gentlemen vaping weed and drinking cans of beer in the parking lot (they did not share), we slept for a few hours and tried not to touch anything.
We were told there was a free breakfast. I cannot imagine what that particular experience would entail; we didn't stay.
I recommend staying anywhere else. I can't believe Hotels.com stands behind this.
