Horrible experience - urine-smelling carpet
We booked this hotel for our family trip to Miami because of its average 9-star "Excellent" rating. However, it turned out to be a horrible experience.
First, this hotel has no elevator, so we had to carry all our large luggage up to the third floor without any assistance.
Second, the front desk assigned us to Room 221, which had a constant pungent urine smell coming from the carpet throughout our entire three-night stay. We requested a room change immediately after stepping in, but they insisted the entire hotel was fully booked and no other rooms were available. They assured us that after room service the next day, the issue would be resolved. However, there was no improvement at all. In fact, we found the restroom in the room to be much more bearable than the room itself.
Third, the room is small, and windows cannot open.
We will never come back again—huge regret in making this reservation.
