the judgment of a hotel is not how they treat you when everything is going well but how they fix issues when they arise. My parents stayed at The Madison Hotel over the weekend for their first visit to NJ after we relocated. Unfortunately, our house wasn't ready so the hotel was the next best option. Great location and independent feel, there was an issue with their room but after night one, the issue was resolved, the staff was apologetic and helpful and quick to fix... and then followed up several times to make sure all was well.
They followed that with some discounting to "buy them a drink" at the great adjoining steakhouse, Rod's, during their stay and it was great.
they were so happy with their stay and the staff... Thanks to all!
