Unacceptable upkeep, staff service, smell & noise
When we arrived at our room, it was next to the washers and dryers for the hotel. The detergent smell was overwhelming and extremely irritating to our sinuses ouside and inside the room. The noise of the hotel’s AC chillers was loud throughout the rooms. We went back to the front desk and Jennifer was unwilling to move us until we forced the issue. In a disrespectful tone, she asked if it was okay if a tree was outside our room.
After dinner (in a new room), we found out that the refrigerator was turned off and water was in the pan under the freezer and on the bottom of the refrigerator. We cleaned up the water with hotel towels. Later that evening, we used the sink in the small kitchen. Water started pouring out of the cabinet onto the floor. It was a sizeable amount and more towels had to be used. What a mess!
We reported these two issues when we checked out. As a Hilton Rewards Member, we have come to expect excellent customer service and upkeep of Hilton facilities. This hotel delivered poor service in all of those areas.
