The hotel is so cute and the exhibits are a really great touch. I enjoyed perusing them. The room itself was small, but cozy, with plenty of light and a seating area. Hotels don’t usually have an overhead light, so I was pleasantly surprised when I flipped the switch. They have standard in-room offerings, coffee/water, but nothing more (no snacks or minibar). I liked that there were mirrors throughout the room and the bed was comfy. The restaurant (Lure Fishbar), was good and vibey. The only drawback was after dinner, we took the rest of our drinks to head to the room and get ready for our next stop and where chased down by a staffer saying the liquor license was only for the restaurant/bar and we couldn’t take our drinks up, which was inconvenient, we had to go back and finish them at the bar. That had never happened to me before. Another thing my husband noted, was that the hallways felt a bit dingy and dark (It’s dark paint and dimmer lighting) and a housekeeping cart sat outside in the hallway all day and never moved overnight. 🤔
Over all, the staff and room were great and the stay was worth the price for the area. It was a 3 minute walk to Starbucks Reserve and the Magnificent Mile.
