Broken elevator, unethical practices
We were contacted via phone about 15 minutes prior to our arrival & told the elevator was not working & they could not move us to a lower level. Because it was so late in the day, we felt it would be too difficult to book another hotel for our stay.
Upon arrival, it appeared that the elevator had need non-functional for quite some time & they indicated that they weren’t given an exact date for repairs to be completed. They did offer help getting our luggage to the 3rd floor for us. We are in our late 60s & early 70s so appreciated the help. Our stay was to be for 4 nights.
The next morning we checked again about when the elevator would be repaired & we’re told again they had no date for the repairs to be complete. We decided to cancel the remainder of our reservation & got a refund.
