Teddington (London) Travellodge
Have stayed twice, booked accessible room with my not-very-mobile wife. Handy for visiting Hampton Court Palace and other nearby attractions. Location is excellent, 200 metres from rail station, and various bus routes close by. A plus point is the free on-site car parking. Reasonable full breakfast, also basic catering at other times, is available in the hotel, but local options include Nando's next door and Pizza Express across the road, and many other possibilities not far away. Room is acceptable and big enough, but has nowhere to store clothes etc. so you have to keep your things in your bags. Room can be hot, no air con -window only opens a tiny amount if you need to cool down. But hey, at the price you cannot beat this place.

Personal items not safe in this hotel
Two night stay in this hotel and had the worst experience. We had jewellery and food items stolen from room no cctv to help with police investigation, staff inexperienced in hotel procedures. Toilet in room blocked several times , pillows lumpy and hard will never book travelogde again

A quick over night stay
Nice hotel with very helpful staff and a good clean comftable room. The entrance however is a bit off putting being through an ugly lobby next to an underground carpark and then up to the first floor via a tiny rickety elevator, the only downside to the stay.

Teddington Travelodge
We are a family of 4 (kids ages 9 & 13) so we had a family room (302). We were greeted by Nadine on Reception who was really friendly and easy going but professional through out. We requested a hairdryer and extra pillows which she got straight away for us. We later needed a quilt & pillows for my son which again we were given promptly - nothing was too much trouble and given with a smile each time. We ended up eating in the travelodge as we were quite tired, my daughter had the pizza which was really good, my son & husband had the burgers, again really good - I had the steak & ale pie with extra gravy which was just lovely - the only thing that let it down was that the veg was frozen then microwaved but I can understand why they need to do this - at the end of the day everything was eaten!! The room was comfortable and we seemed to be tucked away from everyone else so didn’t hear latecomers. The only thing that could be added to this room is air-con - we needed the window shut to stop any noise from outside and as it was a warm weekend it soon became quite toasty inside!! We would definitely come back as it was near & handy for Thorpe Park and seems quite a nice area. The staff that were on this weekend were really nice & friendly. Thank you!

Great value
Good value for money although building work still continuing close by so be prepared for noise in the morning. Teddington is a great place to stay as close to the Thames, Kingston etc.
