We booked a queen single bed for the night. When we arrived we were advised that the only room available was the room right off of the check in desk. The guy basically said take it or leave it and really didn’t care if we stayed there. You felt like you were literally sleeping in the foyer. The bed was not a queen size bed. We then discovered our toilet wasn’t working and instead of offering to fix the toilet or give us another room, they handed us a toilet plunger - even with the plunger the toilet still didn’t work. We got no compensation, no I am sorry, nothing, just handed a plunger. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and empathy knowing the toilet wasn’t functional. My husband plunged the toilet for 15 minutes to no avail.
We took an Uber so we were kind of stuck there.
When we advised the front desk attendant while checking out that the toilet was still broken he said that nothing had been noted on the account from the night before. I am not sure if he noted it or not once we checked out.
I will never book another Best Western hotel stay.
