Awful check in process
When we arrived, the hotel had no record of my reservation even though Hotels.com had charged me for the room months before. They had a room under my first name, with no last name, but under a credit card number that was not mine. They eventually gave me the room, and it was fine, but the check in process was very stressful and unpleasant. Hotels.com has now told me they don't give properties the customer's real credit card number. It's fine to be concerned about security, but then I had no way of proving that this was my room. From now on, I guess I need to print out my reservation confirmation emails to take to the front desk because I can't trust the system to work.
