Arrived to check in at the front desk, only to find my reservation was "cancelled" despite the hotels.com website showing it was still ready to go. The front desk agent was completely unhelpful and borderline rude with explaining why they could not give me a room. I had to spend over an hour trying to get a hotels.com agent to call the desk agent and sort out the explanation. Supposedly my card had been declined (never happened before) and the hotel simply gave up the reservation without any kind of notification to anyone. How convenient for them, considering they were overbooked from EDC and so they could drop my low-fare reservation in favor of someone else's last minute booking! Good luck to me finding another room exhausted at 11pm at night, since the manager specifically admitted they had "negative availability" and hence could not book a replacement room for me.
While I was there, some sort of high roller stormed in that his suite was still not made up (apparently from previous guests), despite assurances from the manager on duty six hours ago and numerous calls since then. He had to very loudly and repeatedly demand to see the current manager and have it made up immediately.
Clearly this hotel management is a disaster spanning from top to bottom of the scale. Don't book here if you expect your reservation to be honored or your room to be clean.
