I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room had an unpleasant odor, reminiscent of uncleanliness. When I lay down on the pillows, each of them smelled as if someone had just slept on them. Although the bed linen was clean, I suspect that the pillows had been used hundreds of times without being replaced. The same unpleasant smell was present in the wardrobe, and even the bathrobes had a noticeable lack of freshness. Overall, I found the room uncomfortable and definitely not pleasant-smelling.
Additionally, there was no body lotion provided in the room, which had to be specially requested from room service. I believe these issues might be understandable in a three-star hotel, but they are unacceptable in a five-star establishment like this one.
I also requested a late check-out (1 PM instead of 12 PM) but was told that the hotel was fully booked and it wasn’t possible. However, after checking the website, I found that a room in my exact category was still available, which I consider very poor treatment of guests.
I exclusively stay in five-star hotels, and unfortunately, this one ranks as the worst experience so far.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly, breakfast was good, and the lobby is beautiful.
However, I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
