I have stayed at Sky Tree multiple times and had never had an issue until my most recent trip. I felt that my privacy was at risk after an employee poorly handled my request to not utilize housekeeping during my stay. There were no “do not disturb” signs (which usually there are) and the day after I had asked for house keeping to not come into my room (the employee told me it was recommended) said employee came and knocked on my door and TOLD me, I quote “they will be coming into your room today.” No one asked if I would like housekeeping, they told me. (I didn’t even need housekeeping, neither trash can was full and I’m not an unclean person.) It felt as if they were going to barge into my room at any moment. While this did not happen and a housekeeper later knocked on my door, I told them I didn’t need service and they went on their way. If there was a new policy of some sort at the hotel where they would like to clean every two-three days for people who have longer stays something along those lines could have been said, but it wasn’t. It’s unfortunate that I will most likely not stay there again because of it. Otherwise the employees are wonderful, the food is decent, the rooms are comfortable and tidy, and the price is really nice for what you get. I hope they will handle matters of this sort better in the future! You’re a hospitality service, please be kind! If you are a Sky Tree employee seeing this, thank you for taking the time to read. Blessings to you!
