Worst Hotel Service Experience
This is the worst experience I have had staying in a Sheraton Hotel. I booked my room for three adults, including breakfast, with the understanding that appropriate sleeping arrangements would be provided. But when I checked in, the reception manager told me that it was a double-bed room only and that if an extra bed was needed, I needed to pay. I said then what was the point of booking a room for three persons and he said it was for breakfast reservation only. He said, from his point of view, there is nothing wrong with Sheraton because the booking was conducted via a third-party website, i.e. Hotels.com. I told him it was not a matter of paying extra money for the additional bed but being a manager, he needed to solve the problem to satisfy the customer's need and not simply say the hotel did nothing wrong. I paid for the extra bed but I told him this RMB233 extra will prevent a loyal Sheraton Hotel customer from booking this hotel anymore. I have now black-listed this hotel and I hope your website takes a look into this matter and improves, like showing an option to add an extra bed should the booking be for three adults and an additional facility pack is needed. If Sheraton's management training is like this, I am very disappointed.
