You get what you pay for
The front desk staff here is friendly and helpful, but I think that’s probably the only good thing I can say.
The rooms are definitely in need of remodeling and the doors are as well. Throughout the night people are slamming them up and down the halls until well after midnight. It’s also a pet-friendly hotel (my room smelled like a wet dog, which was kind of gross), so when the doors would slam dogs would start barking.
I came back the third night to a roach crawling on the floor and asked for the room to be cleaned the next day (they don’t clean the rooms until you check out), but that didn’t happen. Luckily I didn’t see any more bugs, but I was really freaked out about that.
The hot water never worked in the bathroom sink, which wasn’t a huge problem but it was somewhat annoying. I also didn’t like how I almost ran out of toilet paper and all my towels got dirty / had to be reused; I was there four nights and they only service the rooms when you check out.
This was the second time I’ve stayed here (I was here two years ago), and the quality has gone downhill since the last time. I wouldn’t say that you should avoid the place, but I would say that you should be aware that you’re getting what you pay for.
