Palazzo Marletta
We would not got back to Catania. You can't escape the smoke of the people and the city is so dirty and painted with graffiti. We hid out in our room I am so glad we only stayed one night in this city as we almost had planned to stay two. The hotel does not have an elevator to get your luggage to your room and the stairs are so small you will be scared going up and down them. We would not stay in this hotel or area again. Its a historic hotel and I can tell that they try but we were not impressed. The room we stayed in did not look like the pictures.

Amazing hotel with history in great location
Before leaving from the US, we would have rated this hotel 5 STARS!! Renato, Serena, Simona and the rest of the staff were amazing and answered our questions minutes after sending an email. They helped with restaurant reservations, recommended sites to visit, where to purchase a SIM card, delivery of an item we ordered, driver pickup from the airport, parking our rental car in a safe location the night before departure and coordinating our car delivery morning of departure. The hotel has so much history and it was explained upon arrival. Location is perfect!
