I have been staying at Siru Hotel regularly over the past eight years due to work-related commitments. Up until now, I have never encountered any particular issues. However, during my most recent visit, I was surprised to be informed that my reservation did not exist in their system. Upon presenting my reservation ticket, I was told there had been an issue with Hotels.com's portal, causing some bookings not to reach the hotel.
Fortunately, I was able to secure another room, but at double the original price. I believe that given the circumstances, this issue should have been resolved without additional cost to me, especially since the fault was beyond my control. Whether the problem lies with Siru Hotel or Hotels.com, I expected to receive a replacement room at the same rate.
