We went to the Attic for dinner and our server totally forgot about us. We had to ask the other server for condiments, dessert, our bill. Our server even told the actual server helping us that we were her table but she was too busy doing inventory on the alcohol. Not sure why she is doing inventory during dining hours and when there is only one other server working.
Of all the rooms at the lodge, they put us next to one that was being renovated. There was drilling, sawing, workers talking until about 630-700 PM at night. We told the front desk and she said she would look into it but never got back to us.
The website to Salishan is very misleading. The spa and lodge are totally separate. The pool to the lodge is not connected to any part of the building so folks are having to walk in their wet suits/towels to their rooms - outside. Also, the spa isn’t ten feet away, it’s across the 101 and there are limited spots, it’s a first come, first serve basis to use the spa and they won’t tell you how many spots are available just to call in the morning. Our “nature view” room was of the trees outside and the road.
The hot tub at the lodge was luke warm if that. I think the pool water was warmer. Very disappointing.
