OK but needs renovation.
We stayed for a week. After a bumpy start it was fine.
The first room we were in was a bit shabby and had water leakage in the bathroom. We were not too happy and probably would have moved to a different hotel if we hadn't already paid for the entire stay via hotels.com. So we notified the staff who were friendly and wanted to solve the problem as soon as possible. We got a new room the day after. The other room was nicer but we think that the hotel management should start to think about complete renovation.
There were a few things that we felt could be better.
°1 There is a safebox in the room but not large enough to fit a laptop.
°2 The door to the room isn't very sturdy and the lock isn't very strong. The guy at the front desk told us that they had never had any brake ins but we were still not comfortable with leaving large valuables (laptops) in the room.
°3 As usual we did a bed bug check and didn´t find any, which was a good thing. The downside was that we found many hairs directly under the bed sheet which was unpleasant.
Positive aspects:
°1 The hotel is close to the beach.
°2 It was easy to find a parking space directly outside the hotel and parking was free.
°3 There was plenty of benches next to the swimming pool. The swimming pool was clean.
°4 It was quiet (no loud neighbors).
