On the first morning, I was awakened early in the morning by terrible construction noise right next door. I requested to be moved and was moved to a different room, which was quieter a slightly bigger. However, both rooms had a very strong smell of mold in the bathroom and as in so many hotels in Spain, the bathroom had no exhaust fan or window! This mold smell affected me as I had said before arriving, that I am allergic to mold. The decor of the hotel is rather dull and depressing, painted in many shades of beige/grey and just makes you feel tired and lethargic. The lobby is painted in the same way and has very strange and limited seating for a hotel lobby, with guests trying to find somewhere to sit and to plug in their phones/laptops and it is very difficult. The lobby layout and seating definitely needs to be improve. The entire hotel is rather dark and gets very light natural light from outside, which also makes it rather depressing. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful.
