The images under the Deluxe Room category are misleading, as they appear to show a mix of different rooms as that specific category. We stayed in a room on the 4th floor, which required additional steps and had wooden beams. The room was quite dark, with poor lighting and a very small window. While it was spacious, the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. The sink faucet has significantly more pressure than the shower, and due to the shape of the sink, water splashes everywhere. I was getting ready to go out and ended up soaking the entire bottom half of my outfit.
There was noticeable mold buildup in the shower, and when I turned on the water, it started floating around. We also had an issue where the water wasn’t draining and started to pool, got as high to cover my feet but the staff resolved it the following day. Unfortunately, the water pressure and temperature were inconsistent throughout our stay.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all during our visit, which was particularly frustrating since I had work to do. Despite trying to connect with various devices, the internet was never available. The hotel suggested we unplug to rest, but this wasn’t helpful given that we needed to stay connected.
On a positive note, the location is excellent, with plenty of shopping and attractions within walking distance. This place is suitable for a short stay of 1 to 2 nights. The staff member who checked us in and out was the friendliest person we encountered in Rome.
