Luxurious grounds but tired rooms.
The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. Every tree has been trimmed perfectly and the flowers are fresh and beautifully kept. The swimming pools are clean and perfectly maintained. The golf course is above average but some areas of the turf have been sprayed green. The course is sadly surrounded by some neighborhoods that back right onto the course and some of them are in disrepair and have trash in the yards, (one had a toilet). Golf staff was Courteous and was as accommodating as possible. The interior is where this resort falls short. The bed frame in our suite was broken. The bathroom was extremely musty smelling. The interior is extremely worn. Floor of the elevators are cracked and filthy. The cushions on all the outdoor furniture is spotted and dirty. We only got maid service 3 of our 5 day stays and though the sheets were clean the rest left a lot to be desired. Kudos to the restaurant as the food was consistently good. The little cafe in gift shop messed up our simple coffee and pastry order almost every time. Water park was awesome. If you’re not going to use the water park (free with your room) then the cost of the rooms are too high. I call this a luxury resort just because the rooms are so tired and bare bones.
