Overall the hotel is a nice play to stay, with beautiful decor and comfortable rooms. It is well located, being walking distance to the centre.
However it is let down a little by some staff.
We were hurriedly checked in on arrival and given no information on where to find the lifts, where our room was located, dining information etc.
Yet later on when I wandered around looking for the car park , the young man on Concierge greeted me with a smile and I insisted on taking me there, and then give me a complete tour of the facilities.
There is parking under the hotel. Not cheap at £40 for the night, but very convenient.
Service is slow in the bar, and I had to walk up to pay my bill after waiting too long for a waiter to come. Little things, but when you pay a premium to stay at a good hotel, you do expect a premium service.
I would stay again. The hotel just needs to get the staff better trained.
